The heart of ESR is its highly qualified
professionals with over 50 years of combined experience in the
environmental field. Additional experience includes
analytical research at a nuclear reactor, acquisition and program
management, administrative contracting management, medical support, and
insurance.
Paul Meiburger, P.E.,
President
Paul
is President of Environmental and Safety Resources, Inc.
(ESR). Before starting Meiburger Environmental
Services,
Inc. in 1986 (a prior name for ESR), Paul was employed for over five
years with the State of Missouri in the Hazardous Waste Enforcement
Program. Paul served with the state regulatory agency by
initiating the hazardous waste enforcement program in the state,
training many of the regional office inspectors, and leading the
hazardous waste permitting unit. He is a graduate of the
University of Missouri at Columbia and is a registered Professional
Engineer (PE), licensed in both Missouri and Illinois. Paul
is a
seasoned speaker in numerous aspects of environmental management,
including pollution prevention, safety, regulatory requirements, and
permitting.

Barney Dudas,
MBA, Senior Consultant, (Lt. Col., USAFR)
Barney is Vice-President of ESR. He has 15 years experience in the industry
starting with ESR in 1997. He
has
Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering with waste water treatment and design
coursework from the
United
States Air Force Academy in Colorado Springs, Colorado. He
also earned
his MBA from the Florida Institute of Technology, focusing in
logistics. Barney’s areas of expertise include Risk
Management Programs (Clean Air Act, section 112(r)), ISO 14000, SPCC
plans, Environmental Management Systems, and technical oversight of
ongoing projects. Prior to joining ESR in 1997, Barney was in
the
Air Force, serving over 8 years as an acquisition program
manager. He is currently a Lieutenant Colonel in the Air Force Reserves
and recently returned from a 6 month tour in Iraq.

Sharon Stock, P.E. Environmental Consultant
Sharon has over 25 years of environmental experience, specializing in air pollution control permitting and compliance. She worked with the Missouri Department of Natural Resources in the Air Pollution Control Program, Permitting Section, and also with the University of Missouri – Columbia as their environmental compliance specialist. Sharon is intimately familiar with both the state and federal air pollution regulation and requirements, Air Pollution Permitting, and she has extensive experience in estimating emissions from all types of facilities and conducting OSHA air monitoring for industrial hazardous air environments.

Mike Hall, CHMM, Senior Consultant
Mike has 16 years experience in the industry starting with ESR in 1996.
He has a Bachelor of Science in Fisheries and Wildlife from the
University of Missouri at Columbia. Mike is a Certified
Hazardous Materials Manager, with experience in hazardous and special
waste management, air pollution permitting, underground storage tank
investigations and removals, and Community Right-to-Know
reporting. Prior to joining ESR in 1996, Mike worked with
Sherwin-Williams Paints and conducted research at the University of
Missouri and with the Missouri Department of Conservation.

Peggy Sato, Environmental Reporting Specialist
Peggy has 23 years experience in the industry starting with ESR in
1989. She has a Bachelor of Arts in Mathematics from Northwestern
Illinois
University, and has worked toward her Masters Degree in Mathematics at
the Illinois Institute of Technology. Peggy works as a
project
analyst and an environmental reporting specialist. Peggy has
experience in hazardous waste reporting, Community Right-to-Know
reporting, and the OSHA Hazard Communication Standard. Peggy
has
completed a specialized course in the requirements for Certified
Hazardous Materials Managers. Prior to joining the company in
1989, Peggy worked at the University of Missouri Hospitals and Clinics
and also served as an underwriter for Travelers Insurance Company.
